Hazel has gathered 25 years’ experience in commercial food science innovation, utilising her science background for development of commercial food and non-food products.
Hazel is widely recognised as an industry expert and engaging communicator, especially regarding the health benefits of vegetables and other plant-based foods.
In 2017 Hazel investigated opportunities to incorporate more vegetables and fruit into value-added, convienient, healthy foods.
Hazel’s substantial scientific and commercial expertise comes from a diverse career in food innovation, plant and sensory science. She works with Australian producers, entrepreneurs and agri-businesses to develop award-winning food and drink products for national and export markets.
